Akamuti is one of my favorite brands, and I am sure the regular Miss Eco Glam readers know this as I have ranted and raved about quite a few things previously!
The quality and price is just amazing, so good that its almost unbelievable.
I have been sent some more goodies just today (stay tuned for lots more things!) and I was pretty much jumping for joy because they have added some new products to their range.
The Akamuti range is really quite huge and as I have previously said, would make the perfect gift for people as it will be impressive to the receiver but won’t break your bank account. And in this terrible economy, that is effecting so many people, it’s great to know that you can still buy high quality organic/fairtraded products that actually work on the skin, without using any harsh ingredients.
The body butter smells absolutely delicious. It smells so much like chocolate that if you didn’t think it was a cream, you would think you were inhaling a dairy milk chocolate bar.
For someone like me who has to stay away from Chocolate,(its not good for my Adrenals sadly) when using this body butter, I can at least close my eyes and pretend for a few minutes I am actually eating chocolate from breathing in the scent!
The Akamuti Organic Cocoa butter is community traded with the producers from Uganda. Cocoa butter is renowned and held in high esteem by the African women as a rich moisturier to keep their skin health and smooth, even in the driest of weather conditions. Cocoa butter is rich in nutrients and will rehydrate and feed dry, thirsty skin!
After exfoliating the body, or putting straight on after a shower or bath, this body butter makes your skin feel so smooth and moisturised. With the horrible London water, its essential to use something like this and I must admit, with the yummy fragrance, its a joy to use.
What I am continuously noticing with Akamuti products is, you only need the smallest amount, and once again, adding to the great value of the products!
I love the fact that there are only two ingredients! So simple yet so effective.
Ingredients: Organic Virgin Cocoa Butter (Theobroma cacao), Sweet Almond Oil (Prunus dulcis)
