I have been wary this year of sending people (and receiving too) Christmas cards that are from new paper as this means trees that have been cut down. The way I see it, is we have got enough paper, cardboard etc, to not need to use any new trees! So much goes to waste yet they still keep chopping down trees!
Its up to us, the consumer to make sure the paper that we get is recycled. You can get recycled everything, so do your bit and look out for recycled goods.

I love these gorgeous cards that I can happily send to my friends and family without feeling guilty that they are being so wasteful!
If you use these, then recommend to friends/family that they put these out in the recycled bin, then thats even better isnt it! Means that it will keep being used again and again rather than being thrown away, to waste.
These cards are very cute, There are five red ones and five blue ones so you do have a bit of variety.
The cards measure 12 cm x 12 x cm and are printed with vegetable based inks on 100% recycled card! They are blank on the inside and even the envelope is recycled as well. If these cards do end up being thrown out into the garbage and end up in land fill, these safe dyes mean that the toxins wont sink into the ground!
They feel quite thick (lots of cards feel thin don’t they – bad quality/cheap etc) and look lovely. I love the fact that they are printed on brown cardboard, has a nice homemade look to them.
