Oooooo you gotta try this!!!!!!!!!!!!!Words cant describe how amazing this face mask smells! Well maybe ‘Banana & cake ‘ can paint a better picture for you!

I could not get over how yummy this smells and how lovely it makes your skin feel.

And, even better, is the fact that Oatfix is made from Organic bananas and the other ingredients are all natural!

Last week I put up a review of a Lush Hair treatment and I had a couple of negative comments about the company, and that I shouldn’t review their products.

My blog is about my journey into ethical living which I want to share with others who can make a choice to try something like me or not try it.

I see a lot of good in so many products and companies out there.

In an ideal world we would all buy totally 100% organic products, but is that really realistic? No, its not. Many people just don’t care about what they use on their skin or eat.

I personally  like Lush and think they have some great products.  They make some things that have just the most imaginative combinations of ingredients that  smell out of this world!

They may not be 100% natural and organic all the time but I do think they are bringing  alot of attention to the horrors of animal testing and to me, this is a huge plus!

We need more mainstream companies openly standing up for the rights of animals, and because of their brand and name it means that the average person is more likely going to take notice in these issues.  And apart from the Body Shop, I think Lush is the only other global company doing this.

Some people in the Eco world, think Lush is not a totally eco product. Its true, a few of their products have some chemicals that some of you may prefer not to use but I feel that is up to the consumer to decide this.

I am going to make sure in future that the Lush products I review are like this one above, 100% natural, and will avoid the other ones that aren’t as perfect.

For me, the way I see it is this, I eat organic food, do not use any harsh cleaning chemicals, I sleep on an organic mattress, all of my shampoos, body washes etc are sodium lauryl sulphate free, I am taking some supplements with chlorophyl that is very detoxifying and I really have  minimal chemical exposure in my life – I don’t see the problem in using a couple of products that aren’t necessarily 100% organic.

And, this mask in particular, even if it washes down the drain, and gets into the water ways, is not going to harm it one bit. So this particular product is something I am more than happy to use.

I believe in encouraging others to find out for themselves so that we as individuals can make that choice.

So, learn what chemicals and their names are and decide if you dont want to have them in your skin care routine.  A really good book for this is the ‘Toxic Consumer’ which is available from www.goorganicnow.co.uk – this will really educate you in toxins in our products and around the home.

I absolutely adore this mask and when I use it I feel very pampered.

With its organic bananas, finely cut oats, ground almonds, vanilla pod plus many more delicious ingredients, its easy to see why it smells like a cake!

I have quite a sensitive skin and after having this mask on for ten minutes, it really calmed it down.

This is my number one favorite face mask, and its going to be a regular in my bathroom!

Give it a try, I bet you will love it like me!
