I am already super impressed by the Nosh Detox Delivery system! The night before, I get my next days juices, delivered to my door, sealed in recyclable bottles, with a set of instructions for the day’s routine.  Many detox systems seem so hard, I recently read a book about detoxing and wow wee did they want me to do a whole heap of things, it almost seemed ridiculous what was expected.

So I said no thanks to that one and yes please to this one! I like to do things easily and quickly and I am sure you might agree with me on this, who has got the time to do a whole heap of things during a usually already busy day?  A detox shouldn’t be a chore, it should feel enjoyable and so far with the Nosh Detox, I am loving it!

I now realise, that since doing my Master Cleanse Detox last year, that  when you eat less, you DO have more energy.  I get almost hyper, with just wanting to do so much in the day.

Yet again, on this first day, I have now cleaned out my cupboards, took Coco for a walk, emptied rubbish bins and have done lots of things I normally do not have the energy to do.

On the Master Cleanse first day, I did 4 hours on my mini tramp – I know, crazy and way too much, I spent the next few days with very sore back so dont try this amount of time at home!)

Those that know me well, know that I suffer from Chronic Fatigue that really has caused me lots of problems.  I tend to not be able to do too much, even blogging can be quite tiring for me. When I am at my worst, all that I can do is lie down. Its pretty horrible!

But, I am wondering if its all just down to my digestive system not working well, maybe thats what is slowing me down?  Too much food drains me and makes me so tired?

Because I also am testing out the Detox Box as well, the system is even more impressive and fun to use.  If you are thinking about doing this Detox and can afford the box too, I would really recommend it. Its just got everything you need and so carefully thought out.

The gorgeous box contains:

  1. 5 lots of different Dead Sea Salts to use in bath each night – each day is a different ‘flavor’ to help enhance this detoxification process. They come in silver reusable tins that will make perfect containers for when I want to make a body scrub.
  2. Nux Vom – homeopathic pills – you take one a day for the 6 days then can take more during the month (so you get extra not just for this detox)
  3. Natural Bristle Brush – really good quality, handy shape – for brushing the body every day!
  4. Castor Oil – to take every day, just 1tspn and surprisingly yummy!
  5. 5 lots of different Herbal Teas, also specifically chosen to help with detox

Each day consists of getting up at 7.30 – having a hot water with lemon, inch of ginger and some honey – I will admit that I didn’t wake up this early so I had it at around 8.30 instead.

Then, half an hour later I had the 1 tspn of castor oil followed by half a cup of organic coffee – this is to aid in elimination (in other words makes you do number twos!)  And boy, does it work!

I then have lots of water and and a warm tea if I feel hungry.  I actually went back to bed as I was super tired yesterday (it’s day 2 as I write this). I needed that sleep in and felt heaps better in the afternoon.

Then at 11.30 it was time for me to have smoothie number 1!

The smoothies are not just some simple things thrown together they are carefully thought out and have some added extras in there like goji berries, or green synergy powder, acai berry and green leaves, and this is just for the four that I have in one day!

The four smoothies I had throughout the day at these times: 11.00am, 1.30am, 4.30pm, 8pm were:

‘The Hydrator’ – Flaxseed, Mango, Papaya, Orange and Mango – sweet, but not sickly sweet, I really enjoyed this one!

‘The Rejuvenator’ – Fresh Goji Berries, Banana, Berry, Orange and Lemon – This was my favorite of the day

‘The Healer- Green synergy Powder, Green Leaves, Apple, Grapes and Kiwi – I didnt think I would like this but I did, very refreshing and still sweet

‘The Elminator’ – Acai powder, Cucumber, Mint, Pear and Apple – another refreshing smoothie, very easy to drink!

Then at night before bed, I had a warm bath with the Dead sea Salt for that day which had some dried herbs and flowers in there too.

I drank plenty more water as well.

The tea for that day was ‘Cassara Bark Tea’ which is cleansing and helps with bowel function.

I must say, I didn’t really like this tea but I think I made it too strong.

So far so good! Am really enjoying this!  Yes, I did get quite hungry and I will admit then when I was trying to train my dog Coco, I did think her treats (that are organic by the way!) would make lovely biscuits for me to eat, they smelt sooooo good but, I could say no.  I know this is going to be good for me and I will be doing many more detox’s like this in the future, there is no point doing them if you aren’t going to continue it properly. Our bodies deserve a rest!

What is really fabulous about this system is there is help available to get you through! You can ring them for support if needed. I am doing fine now but I might give them a call over the next few days just to see what they say.

Nosh Detox also do shorter detoxes and different Food Detoxes as well. I am loving this juice detox but I like the sound of the other ones as well.

This 6 day Juice/smoothie detox + box will cost you £255 – I think for the peace of mind, ease and enjoyment out of this (as you dont have to do anything really except drink the juices, no messy kitchens, buying the ingredients etc!) if you can afford it, then its definitely worth it!

See you tomorrow with Day 2’s report!

By the way, my weight yesterday was 54.6 KGs – lets see what happens during the next few days!

  • sounds a bit expensive for the average person, but still a good programe.
  • sounds like a great way to detox naturally and quite reasonable as well
