Neom Organics have just launched two new scents today!

Their gorgeous 3 wicked large candles now are available in the ‘Serenity’ and ‘Sumptuous’.

Serenity smells of Vanilla and Sandelwood and Sumptuous has  Rose and Neroli Fragrance.

These candles burn up to 65 hours so you are getting your money’s worth.  What I do is light one wick to make them last longer.

Neom Organics, make the most gorgeous candles, I have blogged about them many times. They give off no toxic fumes and are safe to use even in a small room.

They always smell exotic and are just beautiful!

Well its Day 2 of my juice cleanse and I am feeling fab! I had a slight headache yesterday but nothing more water couldn’t fix.

I am truly amazed at how I feel, no brain fog, feel super alert, have a bit too much energy really as I don’t normally have energy so its a great feeling.

My skin has broken out a wee bit, but thats ok, that’s a good sign as it means the toxins are leaving my body.

I think the Castor oil and Coffee routine in the morning is fab, this stuff is easy to take and the results with elimination happen within half an hour.

Nosh Detox Delivery – Day 1 of Juice and Smoothie Detox

I am already super impressed by the Nosh Detox Delivery system! The night before, I get my next days juices, delivered to my door, sealed in recyclable bottles, with a set of instructions for the day’s routine.  Many detox systems seem so hard, I recently read a book about detoxing and wow wee did they want me to do a whole heap of things, it almost seemed ridiculous what was expected.

So I said no thanks to that one and yes please to this one! I like to do things easily and quickly and I am sure you might agree with me on this, who has got the time to do a whole heap of things during a usually already busy day?  A detox shouldn’t be a chore, it should feel enjoyable and so far with the Nosh Detox, I am loving it!

I now realise, that since doing my Master Cleanse Detox last year, that  when you eat less, you DO have more energy.  I get almost hyper, with just wanting to do so much in the day.

Yet again, on this first day, I have now cleaned out my cupboards, took Coco for a walk, emptied rubbish bins and have done lots of things I normally do not have the energy to do.

On the Master Cleanse first day, I did 4 hours on my mini tramp – I know, crazy and way too much, I spent the next few days with very sore back so dont try this amount of time at home!)

Those that know me well, know that I suffer from Chronic Fatigue that really has caused me lots of problems.  I tend to not be able to do too much, even blogging can be quite tiring for me. When I am at my worst, all that I can do is lie down. Its pretty horrible!

Straight from my new favorite vegan beauty website, Nature’s    Boutique, I have been recently using their John Master’s Jojoba and Ginseng Exfoliating Face Cleanser.

Nature’s Boutique stock the large range of his products, and as I am quite new to this particular brand, I am enjoying learning more about this range as I have seen it crop up in a lot of magazines.

John Masters is a well known Hairdresser  (In NYC) who has formulated his own range of truly organic products, not just for hair but skincare as well. He started out mixing his own formulations in his kitchen and now has a very successful range of healthy and toxic free products.

Say No To WastefulPhone Books! – Sign the petition!

Who uses a phone book these days? I bet only a small percentage of people! We all pretty much have access to the Internet these days and find our numbers that way.

I remember last year, our building had a whole heap of phone books delivered, which none of us took, so they sat there for ages, not being used, then were thrown out into the bin! They were probably recycled but still, it was pointless them being made!

I am pleased to read the following information I was just sent!:

Yell reduces directory size as the LGA support an end to the phonebook ~

The ‘Say No To Phonebooks’ campaign, sponsored by 192.com, is claiming two victories this week with the Local Government Association (LGA) declaring ‘war on pointless phone directories’ and Yellow Pages announcing that its directories will be smaller in future.
With 7,700 signatures already  obtained on the ‘Say No To Phonebooks’ Downing St e-petition, the LGA is calling on the public to opt-out of receiving phonebooks to reduce the £7.5 million that’s spent on their collection and disposal. Tax payers and local government are making a stand against this illegitimate waste of council funds.

Waking From Sleep – Steve Taylor

The term, being ‘Awake’ is quite commonly used now a days, I am sure you have heard it and hopefully regard yourself as being awake too.

Waking from Sleep, really caught my eye as I was curious as to what this particular title meant.  Was it about what happens after you wake up after a long sleep, I initially thought, or was it just the sort of book I was after?

Yes, it’s a different term about being mentally ‘awake’, meaning total awareness, connectedness or ‘oneness’ to the very present moment.

Most of us, myself included, are not as awake as we should be and often spend the day being on ‘auto pilot, letting things like work and tv and magazines, cloud most of our thoughts.

When was the last time you really felt at peace with yourself, full of bliss at being alive and just feeling like time had stood still?  Has this ever happened at all to you? Would you like it to?

Eckhart Tolle, one of the worlds most respected spiritual authors says Waking From Sleep, is : ”One of the best books on spiritual awakening I have ever come across. An important contribution to the shift in consciousness that is happening on our planet at this time”

As more brands claim to be ‘green’- consumers should beware

One of my favorite cleaning brands, Alma Win care so much about the ethical world that they want to warn us about the honest truth relating to ‘Green Products’ The market is becoming saturated with new ‘Green Things’, which can be so confusing for the consumer, yet if you have the right knowledge you will know that a lot of it is false and simply a play on words, and will know what to look for when purchasing a safe product.

”Companies everywhere are jumping on the green bandwagon, making claims about being eco-friendly, biodegradable, fair trade, and ethical. This trend is known as ‘greenwashing’ and has unfortunately led to genuinely eco-friendly products becoming mistrusted by the public with only 10% of consumers believing the environmental claims of businesses.

If it is financially viable most consumers would of course rather buy products which haven’t harmed anyone or anything in their making, won’t damage the environment and could be better for their health. But being bombarded with buzz words such as ‘sustainable’, ‘naturally sourced’ and ‘organic’ can not only be confusing, it also raises the question of whether we’re ‘being had’.

Graeme Hume, MD of Alma Win cleaning products in the UK, has put together simple definitions for the most popular terms. He also shares his advice on how to distinguish authentic green brands from those whose exaggerated claims are simply a clever and misleading marketing ploy.

Nosh Detox Delivery – 6 Day Juice Fast Home Delivered

Starting from Tomorrow, I will be doing a 6 day Juice Fast. What is special about it is I won’t have to lift a finger as the juice is being specially prepared and delivered to me at home.  The following days juices are delivered the night before, in 500ml individual bottles, totaling 2 litres each day.

The juices are  made with organic fruits and vegetables as much as possible and they also use seasonal produce.  Not only are they fresh and super healthy, they contain the pulp and fibre as well, not just the juice, so will keep me fuller for longer. I did a 7 day Master Cleanse last year, I gave in on Day 8, so I know I can do this! And I am looking forward to feeling lighter and have more energy.

This week of home delivered juices really appeals to me because, I am super lazy! This is why I have never done a full juice detox. I sometimes am still so tired in the morning to make myself a juice, and to have them later in the day (with eating normal food) is not a good idea, as juices need to be drunk on an empty stomach, otherwise they turn acidic in the stomach.
