A question I am often asked  is, what is the best type of water to drink? And, until now, I never really knew what to say in response, as I didn’t know myself.

Pure proper water is something none of us have probably drunk in many years, and for some, NEVER! Our tap waters are so polluted, and bottled water is a such a joke really, with most brands being not in the slightest bit better for us than tap water, and not to mention contributing to the shocking plastic waste that gets dumped in landfill, usually in poor countries such as India. And, plastic of course comes from oil, which is something that is running out fast, not to mention very toxic too. Bottled water is no longer thought of as a good thing.

There are many kitchen attachments for different types of water, some cheap like a Britta filter jug (plastic again!), which needs new cartridges each month and there are some super expensive water systems called ‘ionisers’ but all of these have their drawbacks.

The water is still not in its natural state, or have not had enough chemicals removed from it to be good for us to drink.

Alkaline water may be useful for some people depending on their health condition, if they suffer from too much acid perhaps in their bodies, but its still quite an unnatural water when you think about it. Natural water is not alkaline, it’s perfectly balanced!

And, reverse osmosis is commonly known as ‘dead water’  for a reason too, because everything has been removed from it.So you are pretty much drinking water with no health benefits at all.
